Norris and Fisher (Insurance Brokers) Ltd were established in Christchurch in 1988 by John Norris and Mike Fisher. John and Mike concentrated on life and pensions business but were joined in 1997 by Martyn Ingram with a view to expanding their commercial insurance portfolio.

In 1999 the commercial insurance division split from the Christchurch office and was established in Romsey, near Southampton, Hampshire as a separate company. There have been two subsequent moves to larger offices.

There are still close links between the Christchurch and the Romsey offices.
