Norris & Fisher are independent insurance brokers, established in 1999. We deal with commercial insurance and specialise in cover for charities and community groups. We are the market leaders in insurance for village halls and other community buildings.
We established our first scheme for village halls and community buildings in 2006. We continue to develop the cover that we provide and, in 2016, we introduced insurance to protect our clients from clear-up costs should their land be invaded by trespassers.
In 2017 we brought in a new valuation facility. We negotiated an arrangement with Internet Surveys Ltd under which our clients can receive a valuation of the rebuilding cost of their premises at no charge.
We have also included Trustees Indemnity cover as standard, expanded the automatic Public Liability cover available to hirers, ensured that Loss of Income is covered for 24 months in the event of a claim rather than the standard 12 months, negotiated ever more competitive premiums with insurers and we give discounts to several county organisations and for compliance with the Hallmark quality standards scheme.
In addition we are Chartered Insurance Brokers. The title is only awarded to firms of brokers with a commitment to developing and maintaining the knowledge and capability of their staff. It also signifies adherence to a demanding code of practice. Chartered status is the gold standard for insurance brokers and it is currently met by only a select number of firms.
